九重葛 Paper Flower
多年生藤狀灌木，花小不顯著，花苞特別大而明顯，有紫、紅白、橙黃或深紅等色，花期常見於冬、春季。苞片三片合生，質地很薄有如紙張，因此又被稱做「Paper Flower」。
Paper flower is a species of flowering plant native to Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, and Argentina’s Chubut Province. It grows as a woody vine or shrub, reaching 4.5 to 12 meters with heart-shaped leaves and thorny stems.
黃紋萬年麻 Mauritius-Hemp
大型多肉植物，全株呈半球形，莖短，植株高可達 1.5 公尺，直徑可達 2.4 公尺。葉緣波浪彎曲， 葉面有乳黃色和淡綠色縱紋，葉片終年不凋萎。
Mauritius-hemp or Green-aloe is native to the Caribbean and northern South America. It is an evergreen perennial subshrub, stemless or with a short stem up to 1 meter tall. The leaves are sword-shaped, 1~1.8 m long and 10~15 cm broad.
九芎 Chinese Crape Myrtle
分布在台灣低、中海拔森林，落葉大喬木，可達 20 公尺，樹幹通直，樹皮褐色夾雜著白色的塊斑，十分光亮平滑，茶褐色，好像上過一層蠟；木質堅硬、耐燒，是臺灣優良之薪炭材之一
Chinese Crepe Myrtle or Subcostate Crape Myrtle is a deciduous tree native to Japan, Taiwan, China and the Philippines that grows up to 14 meters, producing pink-white flowers in mid to late summer. It is often planted as an ornament.
黃脈刺桐 Erythrina Variegata var. Orientalis
落葉小喬木枝粗，樹皮淺灰色，有凹凸。葉互生，三出複葉，葉柄長且基部有一對蜜腺，葉脈有明顯金黃色斑條。春天開總狀花序，花鮮紅色，密集生於枝鞘。
A naturally occurring variety of Erythrina variegata (common names: coral tree, lenten tree, tiger claw and sunshine tree), it has the veins of its leaflets highlighted with yellow or pale green.
熊貓仙丹 Ixora Chinensis ‘Sheena’
常綠灌木仙丹花品種，由於開花性很好、株型較矮、耐寒等特性，也是目前最受歡迎的仙丹花品種。
Jungle geranium, flame of the woods or jungle flame is native to Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka. Numerous named cultivars differ in flower colour (yellow, pink, orange) and plant size. Popular cultivars are dwarfs, usually under 90 cm.
姑婆芋 Giant Elephant`s Ear
姑婆芋長得很像芋頭，因此被誤食的機率很大，分辨姑婆芋和芋頭的方法，便是把水灑在葉片上，會擴散成一攤水的就是姑婆芋，若是水滴成顆粒狀，就是芋頭。
Giant elephant’s ear, also called Asian taro, is native to East and Southeast Asia. It can be used as medicine for the treatment of common cold in North Vietnam. The plant is inedible and there are several cases of food poisoning in Japan.
紅刺露兜樹 Common Screw Pine
生性強健，耐旱又耐陰，為庭園美化高級樹，株高可達 8 公尺，幹分枝少，具輪狀葉痕，主幹下部生有粗大且直立的氣根。
The origin the common screw pine has long been considered to be Madagascar, but more recently it has been suggested that it may have originated in the Mascarene Islands. The fruit is edible but must be cooked prior to consumption.
斑葉海桐 Tobira Pittosporum
海桐科海桐屬灌木植物，園藝栽培種海桐品種之一，枝條平滑多分枝，常二、三叉分歧，常簇生於枝端，簇生枝梢之葉呈對生或近輪生，葉緣或葉面有乳白、乳黃色斑紋。
Other common names: Australian laurel, Japanese pittosporum, mock orange and Japanese cheesewood. It is native to Japan, China, and Korea, used throughout the world as an ornamental plant in landscaping.
艷錦竹芋 Never-never plant
園藝栽培種，葉長橢圓狀披針形，葉面墨綠、白綠、淡粉紅、玫瑰紅等色塊夾雜，偶有羽狀斑點，葉背紫褐、暗紫色，表面有光澤，具明顯葉柄，又稱彩葉竹芋、彩虹竹芋、三色竹芋。
Never-never plant or the giant bamburanta is native to Brazil. The never-never plant is an evergreen perennial and a popular houseplant kept in indoor gardens, but it can be kept outside in the balcony garden in warmer climates.
